Experience
Dan Taylor has been practicing law in Indiana since 1986 and is one of the founding members of Taylor, Minnette, Schneider & Clutter. He focuses his practice on municipal law, estate planning and administration, and civil litigation.

Dan’s interest in law began in middle school after meeting a law student who made a lasting impression on him. That early experience, paired with his desire to help people and promote justice, shaped his decision to become an attorney. Nearly four decades later, what he enjoys most about his work is still the same: helping people navigate challenges and find solutions.

Education & Memberships
A graduate of Wabash College (1983) and The Dickinson School of Law (1986), Dan has dedicated his career to both his clients and his community. He currently serves on the Board of the Southmont Athletics Hall of Fame, is a Class Agent for Wabash College, and is the Varsity Softball Head Coach at Southmont High School. Over the years, he has also served on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club, United Way, Family Crisis Shelter, and the Vanity Theater, and he has coached baseball and softball for more than 35 years.

Family & Community Involvement
Dan and his wife, Kelly, live near Crawfordsville and have two daughters, Maggie and Lillie. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching, reading, and spending time with his family. His guiding principle as an attorney is simple but steadfast: learn the law, work hard, treat people well, and stay committed to making your community a better place to live and work.
