Experience
Alexa began her career as a law clerk for Taylor, Minnette, Schneider & Clutter while attending law school during the winter of 2023. She officially joined the firm as an associate attorney in October 2024.
Education and Memberships
Alexa earned her B.S. from Purdue University in 2021 with a major in Natural Resources and Environmental Science. She then attended law school at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. During her time at McKinney, Alexa participated in the Rural Justice Program twice, doing summer internships with both the Warren County Prosecutor’s office and Warren Circuit Court. She also participated in McKinney’s family law clinic for two semesters, volunteering as a GAL and CASA in Marion County. Alexa earned her J.D. in the spring of 2024, and was admitted to practice in Indiana in October of 2024. She is a member of both the Indiana State Bar Association and the Fountain County Bar Association.
Family and Community Involvement
Alexa was born and raised in Fountain County, Indiana. She still resides there with her husband Tyler and their two dogs, Arlo and Ruby. She enjoys being an active member of her small community and volunteering to help with programs such as 4-H. Alexa spends her spare time with her family and friends, going to the lake, traveling, and golfing.
