Education & Memberships
Suzie started her education at Ivy Tech with an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. Receiving her Bachelor of Science from Liberty University in 2015. She attended Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law were she received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2017. Since 2017, she has been admitted to the Indiana bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Suzie is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, and Montgomery County Bar Association.
Family & Community Involvement
Suzie’s devotion for her community reflects in her serving with the Animal Welfare board and the Crisis Shelter board. She is also active in Women in Networking and Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women.
Suzie is married to Gary Smith, they live outside of Ladoga with their five daughters – Adriana, Heaven, Paige, Blessing, and Hope. She spends her free time with her family, watching her girls swim in their pond. The girls are avid swimmers and they are on the swim team at Southmont. Suzie also enjoys fitness and being outdoors with her family. As a family, they also enjoy reading and visiting the various libraries in Montgomery County.
