Bob grew up in Marion, Indiana. Bob focuses his practice on local government law and real estate matters. He also takes pride in helping clients navigate the legal system with clarity and confidence.
Education & Memberships
Bob is a Boilermaker, graduating from Purdue University in 1984 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. He attended Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. While in law school, Bob had the fortune of earning a clerking position with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana and an internship in the Magistrates Program for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California. Bob’s successes continued as a certified intern for the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office and by receiving his J.D. in 1988. Bob’s memberships include the Indianapolis Bar Association Land Use Section (Former Chair) and the Boone County Bar Association. With his focus on municipal law, Bob is a member of the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association (currently serving as President) and the International Municipal Lawyers Association. He is admitted to the Indiana bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts in Indiana.
Family & Community Involvement
He lives in Lebanon with his family and enjoys reading, golfing, exercising, and working outdoors. Bob’s career has been guided by a simple but steady principle: approach each challenge with honesty, diligence, and a commitment to serving others well.
